At a restaurant just up the block from our hotel in San Francisco we found beautiful food. Delicious, yes. But beautiful to the eye? Yes again.

Last week I tried a new restaurant called The Taco Diner out in Southlake. Aside from a beautiful presentation, the food was delicious. I was inspired to get home and make my own shrimp ceviche, with a new ingredient…jicama. Never used it before, in anything. And you know…I’ll try anything once…food-wise. A trip to Central Market was called for. Finding my jicama, I was able to get some advise from the lady at the register. Do this, don’t do that…she gave me some good tips. I will post a picture of the finished product…as soon as the plane gets home and we can have dinner!
